My NativeAccent 3 page not loading in Google Chrome or other Adobe Flash error

NATIVEACCENT 3 WILL BE DISCONTINUED ON DECEMBER 31ST, 2020.

If you see a page not loading correctly or get an page without the expected content, It is possible that Adobe Flash is disabled for our site in the Google Chrome browser on your machine.

You can see the status of flash by going to:

chrome://settings/content/flash from the chrome browser. It should look like this:

The important parts are that "Ask first" is enabled, and that https://nativeaccent3.carnegiespeech.com:443 is in the allow section.

If nativeaccent3 is in the Block area, discard it by clicking on the garbage can icon to the right of it. You could discard it if it is in the Allow section also if you want. That won't affect the rest of the procedure. The goal is to get the flash configure screen to look like that above, and the way to do so is to run NativeAccent and Allow Flash.

To allow Flash, log into NativeAccent and select a pronunciation exercise. If Flash can't run you will see something like:

Clicking on any of the messages where it says to Enable Adobe Flash will get you a little pop-up that looks like:

Clicking on any of the messages where it says to Enable Adobe Flash will get you a little pop-up that looks like:

After clicking on Allow, you should get the following popup asking you if you want to reload the screen

Click reload, and the pronunciation screen should now look like:

Note that the little flash movies are now visible, and the lesson is loaded.

At this point, you should be able to run any lesson in NativeAccent
